Support services can include a comprehensive PT evaluation which would entail a phyical therapy examination related to their disability and any supportive needs which could include: durable medical equipment, vehicle, and or home modifications. Insurance does require a PT evaluation with reccommendations to obtain the approval for insurance coverage for DME/modifications.

PT will also assist in home programs and training. PT will offer consulation/communication with DME ATP’s, home and vehicle contractors, and case managers with specialty programs and waivers. PT will complete the letter of medical necessity with follow up training as needed to ensure proper use and function of the reccommended plan.

The goal is to ensure that each client/family receives the support needed to obtain the proper equipment , resources, and training with a comprehensive team approach.
